Our Vision
One Stop’s Owner, Matthew Thompson, grew up playing hockey as a South Dundas Lion himself, eventually playing Junior Hockey in his late teens/early 20s. Thompson is still heavily involved in the hockey community today, owning a Senior ‘A’ Hockey Team based out of South Stormont, Ontario, sitting on the Minor Hockey Executive Board as the Equipment Manager, running hockey camps, and more. Thompson’s vision for the store is to provide our small town and surrounding area with multiple sporting brand options at fair pricing, in a space that’s knowledgeable, friendly and fun. The One Stop is not only a retail sports store, but also caters to Customized Sport, Work, and Recreational apparel. Working closely with our community members to provide them with exactly what they need, quickly and efficiently is our main goal. We are always excited to work with new teams, business’ and individuals!

The One Stop Skate Shop is a family run business, owned and operated by long time Morrisburg resident, Matt Thompson and fiancée, Kristina Newton. The One Stop is all about building relationships with our customers, and serving our community and surrounding area with top of the line hockey equipment and apparel.
